Remember in those old World videos, how you could always count on seeing at least one amazing trick, if not an entire section from all those guys in that graffiti laden skatepark they had? Plenty of us nerded out on our rewind buttons for days trying to decipher some of those tricks, but you were really taking it to another level if you nerded out hard enough to decipher the graffiti as well. If you were one of those few, this shoe needs no explanation, but for the other 99% of you, 'GAMMO" was Guy's artistic contribution to the park (amongst a few other things in the LA area we're sure). Since this is the only new style in this collection, AND it features the new Lakaitning construction, we didn't want to get too carried away with the applications so we just threw Guy's classic tag on the insole and side panel then used it to tile the collar panel for a little extra spark.
The Lakai Mariano 2 Ltd Gammo Black/Gold Suede shoe features lakaiting sole construction, eva mid sole for comfort and light weight, tacky multi blend rubber outsole, full length shock absorbing insole, perforated panels for increased ventilation, form fitting upper for increased board feel, a durable suede upper with an overlay print, and it was designed and tested by Guy Mariano.
